Part 1: How to use XPROG V6.12

XPROG V6.12  ECU Programmer  added new authorization: AUTH-0028-3 Renesas RL78 and AUTH-0028-4 Renesas M32C. It only supports English, can be used on Win XP/ Win7 and Win8.

Tips to use XPROG V6.12:

1.XPROG-M V6.12 dongle isn’t compatible with older version Xprog.

2.Please close all anti-virus software in your computer, because the anti-virus software will kill Xprog-M V6.12 driver.

3.Disconnect internet. If not, the internet may damage XPROG hardware.

4.Uninstall all the old version XPROG software before you install V6.12 software, because XPROG-M V6.12 hardware is not compatible with other versions of XPROG software.

5. Never try to UPDATE it, otherwise the hardware will be damaged if you try to update it online.

Part 2: How to install XPROG V6.12

Before installing, please make sure the operation system meets the the following needs.

1.Windows system should be windows XP 32bit or windows 7 64 bit, all the patch software for the windows system should be installed already and the windows properly works well.

2.The windows system should be with at least 2 partitions (except the CD ROM.)

3.Can not be working with virtual hard disk.

4 steps to install XPROG V6.12 software:

  1. Click the file “installation.reg”, get the file information to the regedit.
    The file “AdbeRdr11000_zh_CN.exe” must be installed, otherwise the Xprog software will fail to start.
    3.Plug the Xprog main interface to the computer and install the USB driver.
    4.Copy the folder “XPROG-BOX6.12” to the desktop, and open it, and run the “xprogdesktop.exe”, then open the software.

(Solved) Ktag V7.020 Car Protocols Gray Buttons

Offer working solution to Ktag 7.020 error “ any car protocols its gray buttons”, can’t select or choose any cars . ktag v7.020 does communicate between laptop and ktag device and can select cars/trucks/….etc

Possible reason and solution:

  1. connect 12v adapter.
  1. The problem is in the SD CARD that is in the interface. I had the same problem and solved it. Programming the sd card for KTAG and KESS is a very difficult process that cannot be done by everyone. There are two options 1. that somebody who knows, do – can program a new sd card or other option to buy SD CARD.

2). How to create a new SD card?

Firstly, download WinHex and XorFiles v1.0 http://www.nirsoft.net/utils/xorfiles.html

Insert your Original SD-Card to Cardreader on PC.

Run WinHex, press F9 open Disk, read your SD-card.

Mark 208Bytes = 13 lines from 0x00000270 to 0x0000033F.

Copy 13 lines to new file.

Open in WinHex my Keyfile “128 MB XOR Key01-13.img”

Search and replace line 1 in your Keyfile with all line1 lines in “128 MB XOR Key01-13.img”

Search and replace line 13 in your Keyfile with all line13 lines in “128 MB XOR Key01-13.img”

Filename 1: = your original SD-Imagefile

if you have decrypted the files, you can integrate the decryptet image file with “ImDisk Virtual Disk

Driver” as a virtual drive and save the files to the PC.

If you want to use any new SD-Card in your Kess 5017, use Winhex to fill the SD-card with 00 .

put SD-card in Kess, power on Kess.

The 13-line KEY = 208 Bytes is x times on the SD.

From 0x000000D0 it is on some empty SD cards.

If you not found search any other line.

It is important that from line 0 always the 13 lines are

13, 26, 39, 52 ….. 4160 ….. 344032 etc.

that is, 0x0001040 is in decimal 4160,

13 rows = 208 bytes,

4160 divided by 208 = 20

Or 53FE0 = decimal 344032

344032 divided by 208 = 1654

that means if you think you have found the key you have to divide the address (decimal) by 208

without anything after comma.

then the start same Procedur to create a new “SD128 MB XOR Key01-13.img” file with new SDCard

Key.

Format the new SD-card with FAT , copy Files to SD-ard and crypt it with “XorFiles v1.0”

2nd solution: just needed the CID number to make proper SD image.

No need read CID, no need use linux, no need use any program

-Erase new microSD

-Put microSD into Kess or Ktag, connect to computer and start Ksuite

-Create image in hex-editor and post here (@Digital Under on www.digital-kaos.co.uk/forums/)

Final suggestions:

  1. Read it from the SD card you want to use and is possible create custom CID image that will run ONLY ON THAT CARD.Having the CID of the card is possible make image for kess or ktag as needed without problem.As for the EEEFACE problem, normally is sd card not fit well on sd card reader in kess pcb or not make proper contact so lpc2478 cannot read it and throw that exception.
  1. I received this message several times (4 or 5) and when I touched the SD card, the software started working. Sometime this did not work. I bought a second one kess v2 5.017 with a red PCB. It works for now.

How to rework MPPS v18 China Clone

I made an Opel Zafira 2.0L with y20dth engine hybrid control unit PSG16. Connect with the tricore cable CAN-L and CAN-H directly to the pump.

MPPS V18 has read the PSG16 in 2-3 minutes, to write 7-8 minutes.
Make sure you have enough voltage when writing because the fan starts running (or disconnect it before write) if something goes wrong here you’re f**ked.

MPPS calculates the checksum automatically all perfect.
I use MPPS v18 from China reworked.

what do I have reworked? I have purchased the file firmware , or unlock?

Do not cut the green and white wires.
Simply make a cut around and join with the MPPS cables.
Ensure stable voltage during writing.

Method 2:

The reason to rework mpps because some cheap MPPS china need rework. One comes with missing components and different resistors are installed with red marks below:

Enlarge it and see what’s missing.

Hook Iprog+ V76 programmer up the Toyota car, aiming to perform immobilizer work like key copy, key prepare, key unlocker etc. The test result is satisfied me, I tried Toyota smart key 94 copy and D4 copy, tried reset Smart key, Transponder etc.

Firstly, update Iprog+ V76 driver:

Open the CD.

Install “7z1900-32bit” (my computer is 32BIT).

Copy and paste ” iProg+_2019_00001″ to the desktop.

Right click on ” iProg+_2019_00001″, use “7-zip” to extract.

Right click on “Computer” -> “Manage” -> “Device Manager”;

Right click on “iProg universal programmer” and select “Update Driver software“.

Click on “Install this driver software”.

Driver software was successfully updated.

Ktag FW 8.000/SW 2.47 Reviews, PCB, 111 New Protocol

Little feedback from myside, I decided to bought one (Ktag FW 8.000/SW 2.47). I had not enough time to test it on more ECUs, but I already tested one ECU of the new protocols. And it worked without problem for me. So I recommend to you, if the new protocols are interesting for you. In attachment you have some PCB pics, i cant say if its good or bad, i don’t understand this. But since I tested it already, I trust the tool.

bmwadriatic point of view: I was not thinking and saying that PCB looks different. I was only post the PCB pics to help other users to decide if this tool is reworked good and worth the money.

Renolink 1.52 Test reports:

  1. I programmed few days ago a new key for my scenic 2 pH 2 using a renolink interface 1.49, from China. You should first get the right pin then enter in after sale mode. Program all the keys and then validate.
    You have to go to Misc/Key/ choose Uch scenic 2, then connect. If all is OK you can see and copy the pin.
    Then return to the main soft and find the Uch ecu (uch_84_j84…) then go to after sale. Copy the pin in “code apv” and push “armer mode apres vente”. You can now program your keys.
    For me it worked.
  1. Question: I programmed a key on DACIA Logan 2005, with Reno Link (v 1.52), the car starts but no remote. The key is with PCF 7947. Should I precode it before, with Zed Bull for RF , or the key isn’t good? The key is from China, and I forget to check it if is precoded. the key has 433 Mhz frequency.

Answer:  No you need key PCF7946

what do I need to buy to make Renault trafic 2015 HITAG aes key learning? with pin code reading too. where do I buy the official version with free update?

Answer: You can’t find official version with FREE update nowhere !!!!!!

Such version doesn’t exist !!!!!

You can by official version for full price and you MUST pay every single update even it is just BUGS solved version!!!!
