How to Reset BMW Airbag via Carprog Ecu Tunning?

BMW airbag sensor after car crash and airbag deployment can by locked (Control unit faulty) and must be replaced. Even after small accident Airbag sensor will write in internal memory special
error message “crash data stored” or “computer fault” and after you need to exchange very expensive sensor to new one. With carprog Airbag Reset Tool you can reset and repair airbag computer in 1 minute.

Using these pictures you can erase airbag “on the table” – you must connect GND, +12V, and Diagnostic line between airbag sensor and carprog full, connect power supply to GND
and +12V and use Eraser like in the car. After erasing don’t connect power supply again – BMW airbag sensor is very sensitive and can write “controller malfunction” error after connection on the
table without car.

You will need to install key again.
Once you have done that. go to “programdata” folder then to “LIc” folder. Copy Lic_.key file and paste it in

“C:\Program Files (x86)\Mercedes-Benz\Xentry\bin”

if your system is 32bit then location is

“C:\Program Files\Mercedes-Benz\Xentry\bin”

Then you should be able to run the xentry without any problem . I have tried and tested it. I have been using it for months now. No issue.

this release is much slower than the 07.2019, even using the same computer and SSD HD.
I tried it in Simulation and on cars, it’s very slow.

No Update, Fresh win 7 Ultimate 64bit and Only Fresh Xentry installation no other programs, it works fine but very slow.

Therefore, run Mercedes-Benz Xentry.OpenShell.XDOS 2019.09 is much better now.

Volvo VIDA 2015A Program Not Start on Windows 7 Solution

Problem:

Last friday the Volvo VIDA 2015A software CD arrived finally. Thank you.
I am sorry, but I need your help, while I can not start the program.
I checked for the install-video and prepared everything as described.
Within the last five days I was installing on 3 different hardware all fulfilling the requirements
(2 Laptops and one desktop). WIN7 Professional SP1 (german language and keyboard) (I5
generation 3 and 4, more than 4 GB RAM, enough disk space (SSD or mSATA).
The problem is always the same:
Everything seems to work fine, but at the end I can not log in to VIDA 2015A.
It looks like starting……… but then returns to the Login screen.
I made a few screenshots to help you helping me.
There are some error message, but I have no idea if they are part of my problem.
I use completely new installation (no anti-virus program, no firewall)
Then I installed all updates until august 2019 (Using a installer from Winfuture)
and after that followed the installation process in the video step by step.

Solution:

Obdiitool.co.uk engineer suggest you change computer date/time to March, 2019. Then install patch again.

Here’s the instruction to add SMR-d and Configure DTS Monaco engineering software for OEM Benz C6 DoIP VCI.

Software HDD should be purchased alone (comes with keygen and DTS Monaco software).

Add DTS Monaco SMR-d operation:

Open DTS System Configurator on desktop, select Interfaces, right click to open new interface

Manually enter Interface “C6“, press Next

Configure Benz C6 VCI as picture belowD-PDU API: Bosch_D-PDU_APO_Bosch_MTS6532Module: MODULE_TYPE-ID_MTS6532Cable:OBD_STICABLE_ONLY

Select CAN I interface link

Enable Benz C6 DoIP as picture below

Choose eCOM CBF (DCDIPartP)

Select Project administrator, create new project

How-to: read VAG SIEMENS SIMOS 5WS4PPD1. 5 with Ktag using BDM probe.

Device required:

ktag firmware 7.020 software 2.23 or above

BDM frame with probe

Preparation:

BASIC CONNECTION – PINOUT FOR SIEMENS PPD 1.X ECU, USED IN VAG CARS

6 : +12V ( term.15 )

2 : GND ( term. 31 )

18 : +12V ( term. 30 )

72 : K Line

89 : CAN High

66 : CAN Low

Procedure:

Step 1: Set up BDM connection

connect ecu with BDM frame follow the wiring diagram

Step 2: Read PPD 1.5 with ktag 7.020

Open Ktag ksuite 2.23 software

Select protocol SIEMENS SIMOS 5WS4PPD1. xVAG

Select Plug-in

Read and backup ecu data

Reading in process, wait until complete

Reading eeprom successfully.

Save ecu data.

Done.

Note: BDM100, kess v2 and Fgtech galletto v54 reads PPD1. as well.

Report:

passat 140hp bkp engine with ppd.1.5 ecu and kess v2 reads it fine.

i haven’t wrote to it but read the ecu no problem
